Google Earth

Have you heard Google Earth? Maybe most people have heard that before and would have a chance to use it. I used it first in this year. After I used it, I felt that program is fantastic application! Therefore, I prepared a presentation about this and I would like to introduce you to experience it indirectly. I will inform you that what is Google Earth and its features.

Google Earth is Google's software program. You can fly anywhere on Earth to view satellite imagery, maps, terrain, 3D buildings, from galaxies in outer space to the canyons of the ocean. You can explore rich geographical content, save your toured places, and share with others. The lastest version is 5. From now on, look into Google Earth's features in detail.

There are 3 main functions. First, There is a "Serch", In "Serch", There are also 3 subfunctions, "Fly to", "Find business", and "Directions". In "Fly to", As soon as you type the place or location you want to go at input box and press enter, Google Earth will bring you there. For example If you type "Seoul Tower", Google Earth will bring you "Seoul Tower." In addtion, "Find business" search particular business in specific area. There are two input box labeled "What",and "Where". For instance, if you want to find hotels in Seoul, you should type "Hotel" in the first inputbox and type "Seoul" in the second inputbox. If you do that Google Earth marks hotels in Seoul. In addition "Direction" is a function to find the way you want to go. There are also two inputbox labeled "from",and "to". If you type start and end in each inputboxes Google Earth finds routes and draw a line to mark the way.

Second, There is "Places". In this function, You can tour on Earth with some purposes such as tourist resorts around the world, Skyscapers Tour. Google Earth just shows a series of imagery of places, but they are connected like videos so we can feel we were flying around the world. In addtion, this fuction is fascinating because users can make their videos by using Google Earth and upload it on the web. We can also download other people's videos.

Finally, There is "Layers". In "Layers", there are a variety of functions. You can see local infomation linking with Web, traffic, marine information, terrain and so on. You just check if you want to see.
